About Merchants Way


Merchants Way is a combination of programs that opened together in January of 2026. Merchants Way is composed of the Behavior Learning Center (BLC) and Katy+. 

The BLC at Merchants Way is comprised of the Behavior Transition Program (BTP), Elementary Adapted Behavior, Behavior Structured LIFE Skills, Super Children with Autism Programs (CAP), and Super High School Children with Autism Program Katy+.

Katy+ at Merchants Way is comprised of all of the comprehensive high schools 18+ programs. Students have access to lab rotations including the kitchen, apartments, Bloom room, vocational, simulation, and the storefront. Students can also access community training sites, and community based instruction(CBI) should their ARD committees be in agreement.
