Katy Plus Program

The Katy+ Program at Merchants Way serves students aged 18-22 who have met graduation requirements including credits and end of course assessment but whose ARD committee has determined that the student needs to return to continuing working on an item in the IEP in one of the following areas:

Independent Living

Education and Training

Employment

Students accessing Katy+ rotate through labs such as apartments, kitchen, Bloom room, vocational lab, simulation lab, and storefront. Some students access off campus sites for job training skills and community based instruction (CBI).
